Estos motores forman parte del grupo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellantisfinancialservices.es\/webcorporativa\/s\/\"><strong>Stellantis<\/strong><\/a> y los montaban marcas como <strong>Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn u Opel<\/strong>. En su d\u00eda, fueron una gran apuesta para cumplir con los est\u00e1ndares de emisiones. Hoy, encaran un problema con miles de afectados y una factura econ\u00f3mica incalculable. Te contamos un poco m\u00e1s desde <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallscar.es\/\"><strong>Wallscar Multimarca<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>PureTech, un motor que naci\u00f3 para ser s\u00edmbolo de eficiencia<\/h2>\n<p>Los <strong>motores tricil\u00edndricos PureTech de 1.0 y 1.2 litros<\/strong> promet\u00edan ser s\u00edmbolo de eficiencia y ligereza. Sin embargo, sus graves defectos terminaron por romper la confianza de los conductores. <strong>Consumo anormal de aceite, degradaci\u00f3n prematura de la correa de distribuci\u00f3n, fallos de calidad en piezas auxiliares<\/strong>\u2026 Estas son solo algunas de las varias denuncias presentadas por los compradores. En los casos m\u00e1s graves, las aver\u00edas incluso obligaban a <strong>sustituir todo el bloque motor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00ed, el fallo principal estaba relacionado con la <strong>correa de distribuci\u00f3n ba\u00f1ada en aceite<\/strong>. De primeras, esta correa iba a tener una mayor durabilidad, pero termin\u00f3 siendo todo lo contrario. Se degradaba de forma prematura, abland\u00e1ndose, agriet\u00e1ndose y rompi\u00e9ndose. El n\u00famero de afectados es elevad\u00edsimo, sumergiendo al PureTech en una nube oscura y dando muy mala fama a varias de las marcas de Stellantis.<\/p>\n<h3>Renombramiento de los motores<\/h3>\n<p>Desde 2023, los motores PureTech no existen, al menos en lo que a lenguaje se refiere. La reputaci\u00f3n de este motor qued\u00f3 tan marcada que hubo que cambiar la nomenclatura, pasando a <strong>llamarse 1.2 Turbo 100 CV, 1.2 Turbo 130 CV, 1.0 75 CV y 1.0 82 CV<\/strong>. La cuesti\u00f3n es que la arquitectura de los motores es la misma. No son bloques nuevos, sino <strong>una evoluci\u00f3n del PureTech<\/strong>. Eso s\u00ed, con varias mejoras y nuevas tecnolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, este motor renombrado tambi\u00e9n ha tenido que ser llamado a revisi\u00f3n en algunos casos por prevenci\u00f3n. Esta es la lista de los <strong>veh\u00edculos<\/strong> m\u00e1s afectados, algunos de ellos top ventas en sus marcas: <strong>Peugeot 208, Peugeot 308, Peugeot 3008, Citro\u00ebn C3, Citro\u00ebn C4, Citro\u00ebn C5 Aircross, Opel Corsa, Opel Mokka, Opel Crossland, DS3, DS4, DS7, Fiat 600 y Jeep Avenger<\/strong>. Se estima que m\u00e1s de cuatro millones de <strong>coches<\/strong> en Europa podr\u00edan estar implicados (750.000 en Espa\u00f1a).<\/p>\n<h4>Compensaci\u00f3n para los clientes<\/h4>\n<p>Hace un a\u00f1o, Stellantis puso en marcha una <strong>plataforma online para compensar a los clientes afectados<\/strong> y que realizaron reparaciones entre 2022 y 2024. Poco tiempo antes, anunci\u00f3 una <strong>ampliaci\u00f3n de garant\u00eda<\/strong> para estos motores, cubriendo hasta diez a\u00f1os o 180.000 kil\u00f3metros. Apenas unos meses despu\u00e9s de todo esto, tuvo que revisar unos 200.000 veh\u00edculos en Francia por <strong>riesgo de incendio<\/strong>. Parece que los problemas nunca desaparecen.<\/p>\n<p>En Espa\u00f1a, el n\u00famero de reclamaciones se est\u00e1 multiplicando con el paso del tiempo. Numerosos conductores han asumido facturas indecentes. Sin ir m\u00e1s lejos, la sustituci\u00f3n de una correa de distribuci\u00f3n puede rondar los 2.000\u20ac. Si la cosa ha ido a peor, algunos han tenido que cambiar el motor completo, pagando hasta casi 8.000\u20ac. \u00bfLa mala noticia?
